Literature Text

Children think they’re useless.
This doesn’t make any sense.
They grow up feeling a defect,
When it’s just a consequence.

Mothers abandon the life;
The child they once did bear,
Thinking the effort useless,
And living without a care.

Where’s their adult role models?
A leader who will lead?
And give them some affection.
The love that we all need.

Their fathers are so busy.
And ignore their kids exist.
They suggest a type of bonding,
But he silently resists.

Daily those children cursed,
And blamed for every flaw.
Parents give them wrong direction,
Then degrade the kids some more.

Teenagers retreat to cutting.
And also wear black eyes.
They crave for some attention,
Yet it comes as no surprise.

Watch parents aim at the face,
As they deliver a smack,
Then they start to cuss some more,
As the child delivers right back.

This is our generation,
It’s nothing like before.
They have no proper guidance,
I demand that we get more!
I'm just so sick of seeing society struggle because of their own misguided upbringings.
