The Road

My life it moves so fast sometimes
On a road that is never straight
No matter how fast I run some days
I know you'll always wait

When I'm so rushed and oh so lost
And don't know where I am
I just look back to where You are
To where You calmly stand

Issues press me on so hard
They cloud up all my wisdom
But patiently You're watching me
Great source of navigation

Things of this world are chasing me
As I travel the narrow road
But when I turn and it's You I see
I know which way to go.
